SkyTree Glamping

01 Quick Facts
02 🌲 The Vibe
SkyTree is the easy-escape end of Batang Kali — a compact glamping resort in Kampung Hulu Rening where the river is a short walk from the tent and the pool is even closer. Reviewers repeat the same few words: clean, comfortable, friendly, peaceful.
Tents come with comfy beds and private bathrooms; the river-view rooms add breakfast and OTA convenience; and the on-site food (yes, nasi lemak) gets genuine praise. At night you sleep to the sound of the river — the closest thing to a white-noise machine you'll find in Selangor.
03 🚗 Getting There
SkyTree sits in Kampung Hulu Rening, off the Batang Kali–Kuala Kubu Bharu road — about an hour from KL via Rawang and Batang Kali town. The plus code FMPX+9P (44300 Batang Kali) pins the site; parking is on site. Check-in is 3:00 pm and check-out 12:00 pm, and reviewers note that weekday stays can often check in early.
Weekends fill up fast — Batang Kali is day-trip distance from KL, so book ahead. The river runs right beside the units; after heavy rain it runs stronger, so check the weather before you go.
04 🛏️ Staying at SkyTree
Two ways to stay: glamping tents — fully furnished with comfy beds and a private shower & toilet each — or river-view rooms with breakfast, bookable through Booking.com and Agoda. Either way the river is a short walk away and the pool sits right beside the units. The tents reviewers mention most are the riverside ones: clean, spacious and quiet, with a deck and awning for the view.
- Glamping tent - fully equipped with comfy beds plus a private shower & toilet; deck with awning overlooking the grounds.
- River view room - from RM574/night via Booking.com/Agoda (free breakfast) — the "rooms with a riverside view" reviewers keep mentioning.
- Extras - on-site food, board games, pool; staff help carry bags to the tent; early check-in on weekdays (per reviews).

06 💬 What Campers Are Saying
"I had a wonderful stay at Skytree Glamping. The river was just a short walk away from the River View Room, making it very convenient to enjoy the beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool was located very close to the room and was well-maintained and clean. The room itself was comfortable, cozy, and nicely designed. I was also impressed by how clean the toilet and bathroom facilities were throughout my stay. Everything was kept in excellent condition, which made the experience even more enjoyable."
"My friends and i went over the weekend and stayed a night in the room with a riverside view. Albeit a short stay, it was a very meaningful one. We were greeted with very friendly staff, a clean and spacious room, great amenities, and a stunning view. Aside from playing in the river, we filled our time with card games and board games in the common area. It rained most of our stay, so we didn’t do the outdoor activities that were available. We would definitely come back as we really enjoyed our stay ☺️"
"though my friends and i only stayed for a night, i was super impressed by the place! we stayed at the room with a riverside view, it was clean, quiet and peaceful. there was an issue with the aircon initially but they fixed it super quick. all the staff were very friendly, and there was a variety of activities/facilities available such as board games, a swimming pool and etc, all of which were nearby the rooms so it was convenient. would come again!!"
"it was an amazing stayy. my friends and i stayed for a night at the river view deck and the place was really clean and the view was amazing. would def come here again"
"The site is perfect with a river nearby, nice tents and great amenities. But im afraid the main reason we came here was what they advertised ESCAPE THE CITY, TAKE A BREAK, RELAX & REJUVENATE. Im afraid it was neither. From the leaf blowers blowing for about 3 hours in the morning, to countless noise atv & motorbikes passing the site and worst of all family days, company teambuildings etc shouting and making a hell of noise was nothing but exactly same as the city. Our meals being prepared late and the because of these big families and companies even the only place we could sit to eat was fully utilized.…"
Google's rating spread (4.8★ / 49 reviews, checked 21 Aug 2026) is almost uniformly positive: the river, the clean comfortable tents with private bathrooms, the friendly staff and the food are the recurring highlights. The realistic caveats are quiet — one reviewer found the morning maintenance noise (leaf blowers) broke the "escape the city" promise, and the site is popular on weekends given how close it is to KL. Everything else reads like a steady stream of "clean, quiet, would come again".

08 🏕️ The Camp Tip
- The river is the whole point — protect the phone. The water is a 30-second walk from the tents, and the bank is rocky in places; drop your phone in a Naturehike phone waterproof bag before you go near it.
- Wading shoes for the family river hour. Reviewers call the river clean and suitable for kids, but the shallows are rocky underfoot — Naturehike wading shoes turn a careful wade into a proper splash about.
- The tents come with beds, not a kettle. Private bathrooms and comfy mattresses are sorted, but for hot drinks on the deck you bring your own kit — a Cliton kettle does the job in minutes.
- Match the food with your own brew. The on-site nasi lemak gets real praise; a MHW-3BOMBER coffee setup makes the riverside morning just as good.
