02 🌲 The Vibe
The waterfall forest park & picnic in Rawang — Taman Eko Rimba Kanching — is one of Selangor's go-to outdoor spots. Kanching is one of Selangor's most popular waterfall parks — 7 tiers, swimming pools and a picnic lawn, run by Tourism Selangor with proper entry fees and parking. Reviewers rate the falls highly but flag two things: monkeys that steal food, and a visible litter problem from single-use plastics.

08 🏕️ The Camp Tip
- Monkeys are bold here — keep food zipped inside a Naturehike backpack or picnic basket and guard it while swimming.
- The falls are slippery and the river rises fast after rain. Wear Naturehike wading shoes for the pools, pack a Ise Mount quick-dry towel for the changing room dash, and bring Naturehike mosquito repellent for the forest trail to the upper tiers.
- The main pool at level 3 is where everyone stops — a Blackdog dry bag keeps your keys and wallet safe while you swim, and lets you carry snacks up to the quieter level 7 pools.
