02 🌲 The Vibe

Yunkai Campsite (雲海) is a highland campsite at Genting Sempah, Bentong, Pahang, at 850m+ — camping RM65/adult, glamping RM550 for 2 pax, with free 4WD pickup from the car park and sea-of-clouds sunrises only 30 minutes from KL. The #1 caveat is noise: the campsite faces the Genting highway and sports cars rev past day and night, so bring earplugs. There is no electricity at the campsite, and gravel zones B/C are hard to peg.

03 🚗 Getting There

Getting there — ~30 min from KL via Karak Highway / Genting Sempah exit; inside Vision Eco Farm, Genting Sempah, 28750 Bentong, Pahang (altitude 850m+). Only 4x4/AWD can drive up the steep red-clay/gravel slope; other cars park at the designated carpark and are ferried free by 4WD (~500m slope road — bring all gear on the trip up). Reviewers advise Waze 'Vision Eco Farm' as the Google Maps pin is reportedly inaccurate.

  • Camping (adult) - RM65/pax/night
  • Glamping (2 pax) - RM550/night

"We stayed 2d1n. Amazing weather, breathtaking view almost in all zones. They have toilets in each zone. Clean and tidy. They will pick you up from car park with a jeep. Overall amazing experience. There is a friendly dog and cat (please consider bringing some food for them as well) very cute and friendly."

★★★★★

"The view is breathtaking from the campsite if you choose campsites on lot A. Sunset view is amazing and it's really chilly at night. Upon arrival, you can park your car at a designated parking lot and the owner will arrange for a pick up from the parking lot to the campsite which is about a 10 minutes ride up using a 4WD."

- Google review — Walter Aaron
★★☆☆☆

"We stay there on weekend, the environment of the campsite is not that great. The owners are lazy to clear those wild grasses. Campsite are very noisy at night till 3am & morning 6am again the noise start from those sports car who race up to genting. One thing great about the campsite is their toilet, water heater & hair dryer provided"
