06 💬 What Campers Are Saying
"This place is well known for its sunset and it's not unwarranted. On a clear day you will be treated to a shimmering beautiful ray of light upon the sea and the small islands just in front. An open campsite like these costs RM30 meanwhile the more "glamping" site costs RM50. Because of the openness of the area you are advised to start camping from 5pm to 10am the next day. They did provide facilities like toilets, sink, and campfire site here. The road to get up here is pretty harsh though, so be mindful."
"The view are simply breathtaking. Perangin campsite stand majesticly on top of a hill and you just can see on your far left is the island of Penang and then moving right infronts are 3 little islands and 1 of them are the now viral Pulau Songsong and on your far right there lies Pulau Bunting. I camped there for 2 nights. Warm welcome by Aiman and his family. Have dinner together. Super nice host. Very attentive and helpful. Basic necessities are provided. Plug point, musolla, and restrooms."
"The uphill road is seriously tough, about 55 degree increment like others said. Rough road, alot of potholes, & narrow. Must be careful, make sure to honk when you go down/uphill to make people aware. But nevertheless, the view of this place is absolutely beautiful & stunning. Price rate is reasonable, but please fix the women's toilet's door lock &improve the toilet facilities. 🙏🏽 other than that, it's good."
