02 🌲 The Vibe

A hidden gem that flies under the radar — no crowds, no viral fame, just a tidy private seafront site.

One booking per night makes it feel more like a private retreat than a campsite; the owner even lights up the whole site for a two-person booking.

Laid-back comfort camping: sea breeze, clean toilets, fairy-light ambience — a lepak-with-good-company kind of night.

Perfect for couples, beginners and small families who want the coast without roughing it; not built for the hardcore wilderness crowd.

04 🛏️ Staying at MZ Geo Campsite

MZ Geo Campsite is a one-slot-per-night private seafront camp at Pantai Ruat, Yan — just your group, a real sea breeze, and a tidy site with clean toilets and power outlets, all for RM50.

  • Your own private slice of coast - Only one booking is taken per night, so the whole seafront site — beach chairs, lights, plug points — is yours alone. No strangers pitching next to you.
  • Sea breeze all evening - The wind picks up off the water in the afternoon and keeps the site cool until about 10pm. Even heat-sensitive campers reported sleeping comfortably.
  • Comfort-first camping - Clean toilets and showers, sinks, electrical outlets, generous solar and electric lighting, and proper tables and chairs — an easy coastal night for beginners, couples and small families.
Good to know

Book ahead — there's only ONE slot per night. No online system: WhatsApp or call the owner at 017-470 6892 (or DM the Facebook page) and confirm your date, or the whole place is yours. Bring your own drinking water, and pack a portable fan as backup — the sea breeze drops off around 10pm (there are plug points right there if you need them). Cash on site.

★★★★★

"Not many people recommend this campsite, so I'll tell you! - One slot per night at this campsite - RM50 - Clean toilets, electrical outlets (very important 😆), sinks, beach chairs, tables and chairs - Plenty of lighting at night, solar lights everywhere, and other lights with outlets, creating a great atmosphere and a sense of security. - A continuous sea breeze starts in the afternoon and continues until 10 pm... Summary: Overall, I was very satisfied with this campsite ⛺️ Not stuffy, safe, clean, and comfortable. A great campsite for relaxing. There were only two of us, but the camper was very generous with the bright lights for us."
