02 🌲 The Vibe

A quiet, family-run riverside camp in a durian orchard — a real 'kampung escape' from KL.

Mornings by the shallow Sungai Kenaboi, evenings around the fire pit under the fruit trees.

Spotless facilities and warm Nogori hospitality; the owner goes out of his way for guests.

Remote and unhurried — far from the main road, you come here to disconnect.

04 🛏️ Staying at Lubuk Ghancung Picnic & Camp Site

A small 10-site riverside camp inside a durian orchard at Kampung Esok, Kenaboi — expect shade under the fruit trees, the sound of Sungai Kenaboi, campfires on the fire pit and kids splashing in a shallow, rock-free river. Quiet, family-run and spotlessly clean, with 24h power at every site.

  • Sleep under the durian trees - The camp sits inside a working durian orchard — in durian season you camp among the fruit, and the owner shares harvest extras (one guest was given pandan leaves & ubi sprouts to make masak lemak).
  • Riverside fun for the kids - Sungai Kenaboi is shallow, calm and free of big rocks — reviewers say it's ideal for small children to bathe and 'tub' in while adults BBQ and relax on the bank.
  • Set-up is easy — flysheet included - Every 20×16 ft site comes with a flysheet and its own plug point; parking is 50–90m away, with 24h TNB power, clean toilets, a surau hut and ice supply on site.

⚡ 24-hour power at every site — TNB electricity runs 24h with a plug point at each of the 10 sites — a rare luxury for a jungle camp. Just respect the rules: no air-con, rice cookers, fans or other high-amp appliances.

🚿 Clean toilets & showers — Reviewers consistently call the toilets 'tiptop' — one even said they were better than a hotel's. Shared toilets with showers (water pressure runs a bit weak) and slippers provided inside.

🕌 Surau hut — A small surau hut is provided for prayer — a detail guests mention warmly. One early review said no surau was available, but the current setup includes it.

🏕️ River access & fishing — The clear, shallow Sungai Kenaboi runs right beside the camp — great for kids' bathing and river play, with a fishing area on site. The camp even tracks the condition of its floaties (pelampung).

🧊 Practical extras — Parking sits 50–90m from the sites, with a sink and tap shared by 2 tents, a fire pit for campfires, and ice supply on site. Nearest town Titi (30km) has petrol, ATM, Mr DIY and Econsave.

"Tapak campsite terbaik 👍👍👍mmg best camping kat sini. Kawasan campsite cantik dan bersih siap disediakan pondok surau utk solat. Setiap tapak ada plug point & sinki air berkongsi 2 khemah. Tandas tiptop dan bersih cuma tekanan air xkuat. Sungai air cetek dan kurang berbatu2 sgt sesuai utk anak2 kecil mandi & tubbing. CO sgt peramah & baik hati bg kami ambil daun pandan & pucuk ubi dpt la buat lauk masak lemak pucuk ubi. Alhamdulillah 3H2M rasa xpuas bercamping di sini.
