06 💬 What Campers Are Saying
"Very helpful and kind staff. For entering the park you need to take license for your cameras and smartphone. Price for each camera or SP is 5 ringgit and each person 1 ringgit. You should have your license when you come into the park. This license is available any days you stay in Raman negara and kuala tahan. It means you don't need to take license every day one time is enough. For going to canopy you should buy thicket from headquarter. It's 5 ringgit. You can go by yourself or with a tour or a private guide which you should book from agencies which are beside the national park. For entering the national park you need to pass the river by boat. Price for each person is 1 ringgit."
"Once you take the little boat to cross the river to the opposite Taman Negara's entrance, then you walk up to this Park Centre. This is the place for visitors to register and apply for permit to walk around Taman Negara. The permit is only RM1.00 person, and the permit for using a camera or mobile phone to take photos is RM5.00. After you got the permit, I encourage you visit the canopy area. To walk on the canopy, the charge is RM5.00 per person. There are total of seven canopies which you can walk, so this is a must-try activity."
"I am always an advocate of local tourism and yes, this is a beautiful and magnificent place to visit, especially together with your family and friends. I am a nature lover and I truly recommend the night safari, canopy walk, visit to the Orang Asli settlement, Kelah conservatory and the many trails to name a few. Unfortunately during our visit, the overnight observatory was closed. Oh ya, do remember to get your entry permit and camera/video camera permit for the Park HQ. It was a great experience having meals on the boat, a way to help with the local economy. I would definitely return for future visits. Simply lovely and refreshing to be close to nature. Very fortunate to be able to see the hornbill close up too."
