02 🌲 The Vibe

Juita Glamping Perhentian is a locally owned, eco-conscious beach glamping resort at Teluk Dalam, Pulau Perhentian Besar — front-row sea-view tents with electricity and stand fans, clean showers, and a coral reef for snorkeling right off camp. Official rates are RM160–190 per night for 2 pax including breakfast. The beach in front is rocky (poor swimming), there is no AC in tents, and access is by speedboat + water taxi — the island season runs roughly March to October.

03 🚗 Getting There

Getting there — Drive to Kuala Besut Jetty, Besut, Terengganu (from KL ~5–6 hr drive, or fly to Kota Bharu + ~2 hr drive), then speedboat 30–45 min to Perhentian Besar (RM70–80 return in season), then short water taxi to Teluk Dalam bay (~RM10–15/pax) or jungle trail. No road between bays on the island; camp team can arrange pickup from the main jetty (call 019-980 6423). No car parking at the camp itself — leave vehicles at Kuala Besut jetty parking.
