01 Quick Facts
02 🌲 The Vibe
A peaceful, family-run kampung camp where nine tapak sit by a clear river beneath durian trees.
Every reviewer lands on the same words: clean, calm, friendly — a low-key reset from the city.
The rhythm here is slow: tube the river, eat durian, plug in your fairy lights, and let the PIC sort the rest.
Small enough that strangers end up chatting — it genuinely feels like camping at someone's kampung house.
03 🚗 Getting There
Getting there — ~38 km / 40 min drive from Raub town via Jalan C5 and C150; only 9 tent spots; grass & sand ground; Celcom/Digi/Maxis/Tune Talk/XOX/YES coverage
Remote — ~38 km / 40 min from Raub town; River goes murky and can rise after heavy rain
04 🛏️ Staying at Es Mail Campsite
A tiny, tidy riverside camp tucked into a durian orchard in Kampung Kela — just nine tapak on grass beside the clear Sungai Kela, so the whole place feels private and peaceful. Expect full basic amenities (hot showers, surau, mini market, 24h power) and a camp officer who greets you like family.
- Only 9 tapak - The whole camp is capped at nine tent spots, so it never feels crowded; book early, especially weekends and durian season (from December).
- Sungai Kela at your doorstep - A clear, shallow river made for a dip, tubing and fishing — but it turns murky and can rise after heavy rain, so pick your spot wisely.
- Dusun Durian - The camp sits inside a working durian orchard; durian season (from ~December) means fresh durian on site while you camp.
Booking: WhatsApp 011-5939 5225 (wa.me/601159395225) for fast response, or DM the camp's Facebook page / TikTok @esmailcamp — mention dates, tapak size and pax. Times: check-in after 1pm, check-out before 12pm (officer can be flexible). Bring: RM50/tapak refundable garbage deposit, cash for the mini market and durian, insect repellent. Heads-up: a dome counts as a tent — dome + tent needs 2 tapak; the river can rise after rain.

06 💬 What Campers Are Saying
"This is a gem of a campsite. All amenities & facilities desired of a campsite are available and well kept. Never crowded, limited to just 9 spots for your tentages. The river is so 'conducive' and clear unless when it rains the evening before. Can still be improved though, perhaps with a ceiling fan for the surau and 'working' solar lightings all around. We had a great time. Will be back with a bigger group."
"3d2n sungai yang cantik dan bersih.klu tak hujan sungai sangat jernih, ada yg dlm ngn tak dlm best sgt.campesite tak besar mana ,tp selesa sb tapak tak byk, plug point 24jam,sinki pn dekat² je.co pn baik, peramah.next time bole repeat lgi.lupa toilet dia pn ***** bintang bersih . overall puas hati la.kami pegi hri yg kedua hujan, so x leh mandi sb air naik sikit .tp jgn risau air x naik sampai ats ye.selamat la."
"Plan for next trip, very clean campsite and friendly owner with all the facilities required."
A perfect flat spread: all 13 Google reviews are 5★ (5.0 rating), with every written review praising the clean river, friendly PIC and tidy facilities — no lower-star reviews exist yet.

08 🏕️ The Camp Tip
- Families camp here all weekend — a Naturehike mosquito repellent keeps the kids comfortable, and a Wellhike pillow handles the everyday gear.
- The water is the main draw here — a Naturehike wading shoes handles the wet gear, and a Blackdog wagon covers the basics for a river camp-out.
- Swim sessions are a big part of the day — a Blackdog storage bag for the water, and a MHW-3BOMBER coffee dries you off fast after.
09 ❓ FAQ
Q1How do I book a tapak?
WhatsApp 011-5939 5225 (wa.me/601159395225) — the camp's stated 'fast respond' channel — or DM the official Facebook page ESmail Campsite KELA / TikTok @esmailcamp. State your dates, tapak size (4/6/8/12 pax) and group size.
Q2How much does it cost?
Tapak from RM40/night; 3H2M packages around RM130 (tapak) and RM170 (gazebo), plus a refundable RM50/tapak garbage deposit. Promos are announced on the camp's FB/TikTok.
Q3What are check-in / check-out times?
Check-in after 1pm, check-out before 12pm; the camp officer can be flexible. A dome counts as a tent, so a dome + tent setup needs 2 tapak.
Q4Is the river safe for kids?
Yes — it's shallow and clear when it hasn't rained, and reviewers call it safe for children. After heavy rain it turns murky and can rise, so keep an eye on the weather.
Q5What should I bring?
Cash (mini market, food stall and durian), the RM50/tapak deposit, insect repellent and your own tent or dome. Bookings are per tapak, and the camp provides power points, sinks and basic facilities.
