Quiet kampung riverside camping where the owner greets you with free roti canai and a smile.

03 🚗 Getting There
Getting there — via palm-oil estate rocky dirt road, narrow in places; normal cars, high-rise cars & campervans OK
Rocky, narrow dirt road through palm-oil estate; No water heaters in toilets
04 🛏️ Staying at Combat Campsite
A small, family-run riverside camping farm where the owner greets campers with free roti canai and a cold, crystal-clear river waits at the bottom of the fruit orchards. Basic, friendly and genuinely kampung — pitch your tent, plug into a power point, and spend the day tubing or splashing in the shallows.
- Free roti canai, seriously - Reviewers keep mentioning it: the owner treats campers to free roti canai (even frozen ones for next morning's breakfast), plus free fruit when the dusun is in season.
- A river made for kids - Shallow areas for kids with a safety rope strung across the river, life jackets for rent at RM5, and deeper holes for tubing — easy to keep an eye on everyone.
- Kampung hospitality, flexible hours - Kak siti and pak ndak run the place personally — early check-ins and late check-outs are fine as long as no one else is arriving.

06 💬 What Campers Are Saying
"We had a wonderful experience at this campsite! The entire area is exceptionally clean, including the river and the toilets (note: no water heaters, which is typical for the full nature experience). The owner is incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by treating every camper to free roti canai! One of the best highlights is the flexibility—as long as there aren't campers coming in or leaving, the owner allows early check-ins and late check-outs, which made our trip so relaxing. Our spot also had a dedicated power point, which was very convenient. We truly had a great time and will definitely be back!"
"Seronok camping kat sini. Terima kasih buat kak siti yang peramah dan mudah untuk berurusan. Walaupun jalan agak mencabar sedikit terutamanya bila berselisih dengan kereta lain, tapi bila dah sampai tu rasa sangat berbaloi. Campsite bersih, tandas walaupun bukan moden tapi sangat bersih dan selesa. Surau pun selesa. Terima kasih pada pak ndak yang menguruskan campsite juga sebab bg kami free roti canai frozen untuk breakfast esok harinya. Pendek kata pengalaman yang sangat best. Anak2 mmg seronok sangat. Insyaallah kami akan datang lagi."

A lopsided but healthy 4.6★: 22 five-star and 7 four-star reviews versus a single textless one-star — the small minority of grumbles come mainly about the access road, not the camp itself.

08 🏕️ The Camp Tip
- Combat Campsite sits by a river — a Naturehike mosquito killing lamp makes river sessions easier, and a Shinetrip storage box keeps everyone dry between swims.
- Camping with the whole crew — a Naturehike quick dry towel for the little ones, and a Naturehike dry bag keeps everyone fed and happy.
- Swim sessions are a big part of the day — a Shinetrip camping light for the water, and a Blackdog camping fan light dries you off fast after.
