Camp Know Where 2.0

01 Quick Facts
02 🌲 The Vibe
Peace and serenity is the whole point — the camp's slogan is literally 'PEACE x SERENITY', and the only soundtrack is the river and birdsong.
It's a digital-detox spot: no internet in the tent, cold river dips, and clear night skies for stargazing.
Small-scale and friendly — with just 6 lots you end up knowing your neighbours, and the caretaker is described as helpful and responsive.
Weekend events like the camp's water-splashing festival draw a lively crowd, so check what's on before you book if you want full quiet.
03 🚗 Getting There
Getting there — Steep last stretch, sedan OK; Waze 'Taman Tasik Millennium'
Telco signal very weak — no internet at the campsite; Red weaver ants on the trees bite painfully
04 🛏️ Staying at Camp Know Where 2.0
A tiny 6-lot jungle campsite beside a cold, fast-flowing river in Kuala Kubu Bharu — pitch your tent metres from the water, soak in the stream after hiking Bukit Kutu, and wind down with Starlink WiFi in the evenings.
- Riverside living - Camp pads sit about 10m above the Selangor River — cold, clear, fast water with stairs down for soaking and cooling off; the raised position keeps the campground safe from 'kepala air' flash floods.
- Small and private - Just 6 big camp lots means it rarely feels crowded; tall trees keep every lot shaded, and at night the skies open up for stargazing.
- Chalet option - A 4-room and a 2-room chalet are available for medium to large groups, with electricity running from 7pm to 7am for those who prefer a roof over their head.
- Book via the camp's Facebook/Instagram page or call/WhatsApp 013-932 0510 — confirm your lot number before you arrive.
- Waze 'Taman Tasik Millennium', not the camp pin; ask the operator for the navigation video.
- Telco signal is almost zero — download offline maps and tell family your plan.
- Bring insect repellent; red weaver ants live in the trees.
- 2nd night is 50% off on both weekday and weekend rates.
05 🛠 Facilities
🏕️ 6 tent lots — A deliberately small site with only 6 big gravel-based lots, so it stays private and uncrowded; lots are raised above the river line for flood safety.
🚿 Clean bathrooms — Toilets are kept clean with squat and seated options, plus showers with water heater and strong water pressure — a genuine luxury for a jungle campsite.
🌊 River access — A staircase leads straight down to the cold, clear river; the current is strong so it's more for soaking than swimming, with white-water rafting available in the area.
📶 Starlink WiFi — Weak telco signal is solved in the evenings by Starlink, but only at the common chill/rest area while the generator runs — not from your tent.
🛏️ Chalets — For non-campers, a 4-room and a 2-room chalet sit by the river with electricity from 7pm-7am, popular with medium to large groups.
06 💬 What Campers Are Saying
"Very nice campsite. Very Clean . There is a river just right beside the campground. Our kids love this place . Toilet is clean, equipped with heater & shower head . *only google map lead to accurate location. It's at the end of the hillside."
"Clean and nice environment. Next to a cold river. Enjoy soaking inside the river after hiked bukit Kutu. Makes our feet feeeling calm and heal the ache."
"A very well maintained campsite with good amenities. Absolutely love the bathroom as it's spacious and has very high water pressure and hot water. Camp ground is located 10m above the river line so no risk of "kepala air". The river has a strong current with clear water and great for a cool and refreshing dip. May not be so suitable for kids unless you keep a close watch over them. This is a small campsite with just 6 lots so it's quite private and not crowded. Starlink Internet is also available in the evenings when the generators are running but you will need to go up to the common area to get decent WiFi signal. There are also a lot trees here so campsite is well shaded. Unfortunately there are also a lot of red weaver ants on those trees and they are a nuisance as their bite is very painful. Camp caretaker came and put some ant repellent so that helped somewhat in keeping the ants away."
4.3 out of 5 from 17 Google reviews: 13 five-star, 1 four-star, 1 two-star and 2 one-star — mostly glowing, with a few sharp complaints about noise management and navigation.

08 🏕️ The Camp Tip
- Families camp here all weekend — a Blackdog wagon keeps the kids comfortable, and a Blackdog grill handles the everyday gear.
- The water is the main draw here — a Wellhike pillow handles the wet gear, and a Naturehike water tank covers the basics for a river camp-out.
- Swim sessions are a big part of the day — a Naturehike mosquito coil rack for the water, and a Shinetrip saw dries you off fast after.
